8 DAYS MEGHALAYA WARI CHORA TOUR PACKAGE

TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1: GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG (110KMS APPRX):

Arrive at Guwahati airport and travel to Shillong. On the way visit the beautiful Umiam Lake (a reservoir in the hills). After check-in to the hotel, ride to the Liatlum canyon meaning “the End of Hills” situated at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the picturesque view and get lost on your own thoughts. After returning back explore handicrafts and also devour on some ethnic food at the famous Shillong market in Police Bazar. Later in the evening relax and enjoy your tea or coffee at the famous Dylan’s Cafe and then head to the hotel for a perfect night’s sleep.

DAY 2: SHILLONG TO DAWKI(130KM Apprx):

Morning travel to visit the magical Phe Phe waterfalls. Next visit Krangshuri waterfall which will definitely take your breath away. After that travel to Dawki and go for boating. On the way visit the Indo-Bangla Border. Overnight stay in Dawki.

DAY3: DAWKI TO CHERRAPUNJI (120KMS APPRX): 

Get ready to travel to Cherrapunji known for its living root bridges and also holds the honour being the “wettest” place on earth. Before that visit the Mawlynnong village, which is known as the cleanest village in Asia. On the way to Cherrapunji, visit the two-tier waterfall known as Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley. In Cherrapunji visit the Dainthen waterfalls and enjoy the eye-soothing Wei Sawdong also known as the three-level waterfalls or terrace waterfall. Visit Nohkalikai waterfall (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), Arwah Cave and Mawsmai cave a beautiful limestone cave.  Overnight Stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 4: DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE TREKKING: 

Put on your trekking shoes for the day!!  Transport to Tyrna village and thereafter it is a trek from Tyrna to the double-decker root bridge at Nongriat. It is  “stairway to heaven”. Ater a long day of trekking enjoy and relax. overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 5: CHERRAPUNJI TO NONGSTOIN(140KMS APPRX):

Morning after breakfast travel to nongstoin. Before starting you may visit some of the places if you missed to visit on Day 3. Overnight stay in Nongstoin.

DAY 6: NONGSTOIN TO EMANGRE VILLAGE

Morning start your journey from Nongstoin to Emangre village. Before that visit Weinia waterfall. It will be long journey of 5 hours covering a distance of around 180Kms to Emangre village. After reaching wari chora check-in to homestay or campsite. Accommodation in Emangre are basic but you will get the raw touch of village life. Overnight stay in Emangre village.

DAY 7: TREK TO WARI CHORA

Early morning start towards wari chora. One camper vehicle will take you the nearest location from where there will be a trek of around 1 hour to reach the stream side. Once you reach there enjoy the unforgotable beauty of Wari chora. After spending a good time travel back to homestay and take rest.

DAY 8: VISIT TO SIJU CAVES AND FISH SANCTUARY

Today after breakfast, go to visit Siju caves. Explore the cave and than travel to Fish Sanctuary. Jadisil Fish Sanctuary is the result of the Meghalaya state government’s effort to revive the declining population of the local fish species. After spending a good time in the sancuary, travel back to Guwahati/Shillong. Tour ends here.

1. Lunch and dinner is not included. For lunch, we can recommend good restaurants on the way of travel.

2. Check your luggage/belongings/valuables/ items in any form, before leave the vehicle/ check out hotel. We/Our Company/organization are not responsible / liable in any manners in case of lost/misplace/damage/ forget of anything in the vehicle/hotel.

3. The rates quoted in the packages are on per person basis when 4 Pax travel together.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. 50% payment to be deposited to confirm the booking.

2. Please do carry mask, mini Santizier, also please do maintain social distancing. Also please do check your temperature before trip.

3. Carry warm clothes.

4. All Cost quoted is in INR (Indian Rupee).

6. Sightseeing not mentioned in the Itinerary will be charged extra.

7. No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.

8. Visits to Museums/Parks/Monasteries/Forts in the program is subject to their remaining open on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.

9. We will not bear any cost for flights cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. The cost of accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by the passenger.

10. No changes in the date of travel once booked.

11. Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.

12. All expenses which are not included in the cost of the package shall be paid directly by tourist at the time of checkout.

13. All tourists are advised to take comprehensive Insurance on their own.

14. The timings given in itinerary and program may be changed without notice keeping in mind local development.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. 25% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days before the tour.

2. 50% cancellation charges if cancelled within a 10-29 days before the tour.

3. No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after the starting or middle of the tour.

4. The Process of Refund will take around 7 days to complete.
