Motorcycle Tour of Assam and Meghalaya

Enjoy a 9 days tour of North East India on a Royal Enfield. Explore the places, food and people of Assam and Meghalaya. It will be a guided tour with backup vehicle, tour leader and lots more.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong:

Arrive at Guwahati airport and travel to Shillong. On the way visit the beautiful Umiam Lake (a reservoir in the hills). After check-in to the hotel, ride to the Liatlum canyon meaning “the End of Hills” situated at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the picturesque view and get lost in your own thoughts. After returning back explore handicrafts and also devour on some ethnic food at the famous Shillong market in Police Bazar. Later in the evening relax and enjoy your tea or coffee at the famous Dylan’s Cafe and then head to the hotel for a perfect night’s sleep.

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji: 

Get ready to travel to Cherrapunji known for its living root bridges and also holds the honour of being the “wettest” place on earth. On the way visit the two-tier waterfall known as Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley. In Cherrapunji visit the Dainthen waterfalls and enjoy the eye-soothing Wei Sawdong also known as the three-level waterfalls or terrace waterfall. Visit Nohkalikai waterfall (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), Arwah cave and Mawsmai cave(a beautiful limestone cave). Overnight Stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3: Double decker living root bridge treking: 

Put on your trekking shoes for the day!!  Transport to Tyrna village and thereafter it is a trek from Tyrna to the double-decker root bridge at Nongriat. It is a “stairway to heaven”. After a long day of trekking enjoy and relax overnight stay in a resort in Cherrapunji.

Day 4: Trek to Mawryngkhang Bamboo trek: 

Ready for some thrilling and adventurous trekking. Travel to Wahkhen Village and trek to Mawrynkhang(also known as the bamboo trek or the scariest trek of Meghalaya). After that travel to Mawlynnong village, which is known as the cleanest village in Asia. Overnight stay in pontung.

Day 5: Shnongpdeng, Dawki: 

Morning ride to visit Shnongpdeng in Dawki. On the way visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Explore activities like boating, kayaking, cliff jumping, swimming in Shnongpdeng in Dawki. After that travel to visit the magical Krang Suri waterfall which will definitely take your breath away. We shall also explore the newly discovered Phe Phe waterfall. Overnight stay in Jowai.

Day 6: Travel to Kaziranga via Panimur waterfall

We shall travel to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Assam, Panimur waterfall. It will be a offroad journey and the beauty of this jungle on both sides of the road will thrill you to the fullest. After that, we shall travel to Kaziranga National park. Overnight stay in Kohora.

Day 7: Safari in Kaziranga National park

In the morning we shall go for an elephant safari to see the one horn Rhino along with other rare species. After that, we shall come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we shall explore local foods and people in nearby tribal villages. After lunch, we shall go for a Jeep safari in another range of the National Park. Evening we shall enjoy a cultural event in orchid park.

Day 8: Kaziranga to Guwahati

Morning, we shall travel back to Guwahati to visit the Kamakhya temple and take blessings. The tour will end here.

1. Check your luggage/belongings/valuables/ items in any form, before leave the vehicle/ check out hotel. We/Our Company/organization are not responsible / liable in any manners in case of lost/misplace/damage/ forget of anything in the vehicle/hotel.
2. The rates quoted in the packages are on per person basis when 4 Pax travel together.
3. Price will be less or more when number of person increase or decrease.
4. We reccommend a tour manager through out the tour apart from local guides. It is optional for Indians. The cost of tour manager is Rs. 5500/- per day including His/Her accommodation and food.
5. Price is valid for Indian nationals only.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. 50% payment to be deposited to confirm the booking.
2. Please do carry mask, mini Santizier, also please do maintain social distancing. Also please do check your temperature before trip.
3. Carry warm clothes.
4. All Cost quoted is in INR (Indian Rupee).
5. Backup vehicle Provided as per mention tour plan, any additional sightseeing not mentioned in the Itinerary will be charged extra.
6. No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
7. Visits to Museums/Parks/Monasteries/Forts  in the program is subject to their remaining open on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.
8. We will not bear any cost for flight canceled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. The cost of accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.
9. No changes in the date of travel once booked.
10. Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
11. All expenses which are not included in the cost of package shall be paid directly by tourist at the time of checkout.
12. All tourists are advised to take comprehensive Insurance on their own.
13. The timings given in itinerary and program may be changed without notice keeping in mind local development.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. 25% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days before the tour.
2. 50% cancellation charges if cancelled within a 10-29 days before the tour.
3. No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after the starting or middle of the tour.
4. The Process of Refund will take around 7 days to complete.
