Located at the border of Nagaland and Manipur, Dzukou Valley has over the years proved to be the ‘next big thing’ in the Northeast. Apart from being a treat to the adventure seekers, Dzukou Valley proves best for nature lovers as well. The vast stretch of lush green valley, and especially the Lily that grows in the valley is sure to take your breath away at the first glance itself. Trekking and camping in this part of the Northeast is almost like a dream come true.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: DIMAPUR TO KIGWEMA

Morning our representative will meet and greet you you in Dimapur Railway station or Airport. You can take Shatabdi Express train from Guwahati which departs at 6.30AM from Guwahati and reach Dimapur 10.43AM. After travel to Kigwema Village for which we shall provide a vehicle. On the way, you can have your lunch in a local Naga/Manipuri Hotel. After reaching Kigwema village, check-in to a beautiful cozy homestay ( We do not provide dormitory style homestay). Evening, go for walk in to this beautiful Naga Village. Enjoy a delicious homely cooked dinner and experience some of the local foods. Overnight stay in Kigwema

DAY 2: TREK TO DZUKOU VALLEY 

Morning after breakfast travel to Viswema. Our trek will start from the last motorable point in Viswema. Our vehicle will drop you in the last motorable point. It will be about a 3-5 hours trek depending on the pace of the individual. First one hour we have to climb up rocky uneven stairs and the rest will be through a narrow and beautiful mountain path. We shall reach the camping site and the guest house by afternoon. After pitching tents we shall relax and enjoy hot tea and snacks. After that lunch will be prepared by our guide and porter. You can go to enjoy the surrounding view of the evening sunset after having lunch. After coming back relax and enjoy the night view of the valley. Dinner will be served and we shall stay overnight in tent.

DAY 3: TREK BACK TO KIGWEMA

Enjoy hot tea and breakfast along with the morning view of the valley. After breakfast, we shall explore the more into the valley. Before noon, we shall trek back to Viswema - the last motorable point. Our vehicle will pick us up from there to the homestay in Kigwema. We shall have our lunch in the homestay. Take a rest today and walk around the village in Kigwema. Enjoy your dinner in the homestay.

DAY 4: KIGWEMA TO DIMAPUR

This is the last day of our Dzukou valley trip. After breakfast, we shall visit the Naga Heritage Village in Kisama where Hornbill festival is organized. Later we shall travel back to Dimapur from where you can board your train or flight. You can board Shatabdi Express which comes at 4.56 PM and Reach Guwahai at 9.20PM.

• A very good quality rain coat/Poncho which can cover your full body and bags.
• 40-50 Liters waterproof trekking bag.
• Waterproof Trekking shoes. 
• Thermals along with light weight warm cloths 
• Lightweight and quickdry trekking pants and T shirts( 1 Pair )
• Head Lamps/ LED Torch 
• Medikits, Lipbalm, Sunscreen, Hand Sanitiser, toothpaste, toothbrush.
• Thermal water bottle.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. 50% payment to be deposited to confirm the booking.

2. All Cost quoted is in INR (Indian Rupee).

3. Vehicle Provided as per mentioned tour plan (Point to Point Basis only), any additional Sightseeing not mentioned in the Itinerary will be charged extra.

4. No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.

5. Visits to Museums/Parks/Monasteries/Forts in the program is subject to their remaining open on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.

6. We will not bear any cost for flights cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. The cost of accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.

7. No changes in the date of travel once booked.

8. Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.

9. All expenses which are not included in the cost of package shall be paid directly by tourist at the time of checkout.

10. All tourists are advised to take comprehensive Insurance on their own.

11. The timings given in itinerary and program may be changed without notice keeping in mind local development.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. 25% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days before the tour.

2. 50% cancellation charges if cancelled within a 10-29 days before the tour.

3. No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after the starting or middle of the tour.

4. The Process of Refund will take around 7 days to complete.
